Overview / Compare / Islamiyat, class 6
Islamiyat, class 6
4 boards, 6 books. These books are not of the same curriculum generation — see the vintage note below.
Vintage warning. This cell compares National Curriculum 2022-23 against National Curriculum 2006 against SNC 2022. A difference here may reflect the decade the book was written in rather than provincial policy. The defensible reading is "what each board is currently printing", not "what each province believes".

What the difference amounts to
Sindh and KP publish the same book. Both run the standard five-chapter architecture — Quran, beliefs and worship, seerah, morals and manners, personalities — the same recitation block (paras 7–12), the same three hifz surahs (Al-Inshirah, Al-Teen, Al-Qadr), the same seerah sequence of Hudaibiyah, the letters to world rulers and Khyber, and the same four personality profiles in the same order: Khadijah, Ali, Data Ganj Bakhsh/Ali Hujwiri, Tariq bin Ziyad. Both are implementations of National Curriculum 2006 and under the shared-book rule the score is reported once; no Sindh–KP difference should be claimed at this grade. That matters for the A6 of 4, which comes from the Sindh copy and is inferred for KP from structural identity, not attested. Punjab's volume is a different design on a different curriculum. It uses the seven-bab architecture stable across classes 6 to 9, whose units five (dealings and social conduct) and seven (Islamic teachings and the demands of the present age) have no counterpart in the Sindh or KP shape and are the board's structural signature; here the modern unit covers the environment in human life and the rights of animals. Its Quran unit is organised as prophet-narratives with surah and ayah cross-references — Adam, Nuh, Hud, Salih, Lut, Shu'ayb — which no Sindh or KP volume does, and its hifz surahs differ entirely. All three score A1b 3, devotional and ritual rather than polemical, and A7 4. The one quotable finding sits in the Sindh copy and is English-medium: under the heading "Hostility of Jews and Banu Ghatfaan tribe to Islam", "They were always busy in anti-Islamic activities and conspiracies" (p.42), set as an examinable true/false item at p.46. Punjab is Urdu-medium, so no comparable claim about its register is established either way. Two of Pakistan's three biggest boards hand ten-year-olds the identical Islamiyat syllabus in two different languages, and one of its lessons teaches conspiracy as an examinable fact.

Islamiat 6 KPK — Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Established in the Islamiyat track as the same 2006-curriculum book Sindh publishes at class 6: the same memorisation trio, the same seerah sequence, the same four personalities in the same order, with Hazrat Khadijah in first position. Under the rubric's shared-book rule the score is reported once and no KP-versus-Sin… full analysis →
Islamiat Class 6 (Urdu-only) — Punjab
Urdu medium, so structure and topics only. It uses Punjab's seven-bab architecture, stable across classes 6 to 9: Quran and Hadith; beliefs and worship; seerah; ethics; dealings and social conduct; sources of guidance and personalities; and a closing unit on Islamic teachings and the demands of the present age. Units f… full analysis →
